We’re going back to the original look of my website for testing new ideas and development that you might consider applying into your own system.

As a working technical person, we are all involved with a lot of work that are repetitive and time consuming. So if you want to be consistent in your tasks, play with any progamming tool that are available to you.

I have developed quite a few applications in my own initiative to face the challenge of efficient processes in institutions or places that I worked for in the past and present and all were kindly appreciated and none of those were actually sold to the public.

One example is the linen tracking usage for a hospital in the north-east where the institution wanting to manage and control the linen usage in terms of amount per patient, per day, per department and summarized reports for particular date range. By using my software, the environmental service management was able to raise awareness of the linen usage and substantially reduced the amount of usage every year and also made budgeting easier to do.

Another web-based application that I created that a software company have taken the idea from is my Service Dispatch application.  A requester can go on line and submit a service request while the Dispatch center monitors the incoming request automatically appearing on the screen monitor and immediately taking appropriate response.

Another web-based application is a text paging system where it is used for communicating among co-workers, family and friends using their pagers and cell phones. If used in a business place, an employee can set the time range when he/she is available so that the font color with his/her name on would response correctly, for example color green would indicate that he/she is available, yellow would mean he/she is off, and red if he/she set his device setting to off.

The latest one that I created is a Metrics Dashboard . Rather than running the periodic status reports on the parameters, you can just watch the screen monitor that automatically updates the data periodically. If meeting the deadline is critically, this is big time saving tool that can be utilized
